Ramblings of an Old Gay Expat formerly An Angry Old Lib

I am an old Gay Expat. I didn't plan it that way. I wanted to move since the 80's, but as fate has it, that did not happen. Finally at 70, I packed up and left! I did get my German Citizenship back in 2011, but needed to take care of my aging Mother. She passed in 2017 and at the time, I was not sure what I wanted to do. I moved to the Mountains of North Carolina. One year later, I thought to myself, "this is not working" That Christmas I looked online for a one way ticket to Germany. I had my doubts, since I was already seventy, but I finally threw caution to the wind, and left. I have never been happier!
